the salt water’s making my skin and hair really salty. i think i’m going to end up with mini dreads soon enough.
i’m thinking that i should post my travel journal for the trip.
this is zack. he likes dog whistles. you’ve probably never heard them.
i’m trying to make a simulation game dealio for repopulating the earth with dinosaurs. i’d appreciate some ideas for random events to affect the dinosaur population.
eg.
1. your allosaurus group attacked a city! the citizens revolted and killed 30 percent of them.
2. a scientist mistook your apatosaurus group for brontosauruses! you lose 10,000 dollars trying to prove his mistake.
any suggestions?

hey look! a dinosaur! n_n
disclaimer: this is not a real picture of a dinosaur.
Here’s to the universe.
nobody thinks about about the universe. i mean really think about it. nobody’s considering the fact that right now you’re looking at hundreds of thousands of points of light that are being coordinated by an uncountable number of tiny electrons dancing around with each other, which are themselves being directed by even more tiny electrons. nobody realizes that right now they’re inhaling at least 4 types of gas that are absorbed into your bloodstream through a squishy air pump and sustain all your other types of squishy devices. (which are also powered by energy which originated from a giant ball of hydrogen fueled fire.)
look up. past that roof is a sky and past that sky is nothing, past that is more nothing and past that lives more balls of fire, materials and life forms that we haven’t conceived in our wildest dreams, dust and gas that swirls around in a way that paints beautiful pictures, celestial objects that break the laws of physics, and more things that we haven’t even seen yet. look down. below that floor there’s rock that’s heated so much by the sheer pressure of gravity that it melts. below that, it gets so dense that it re-solidifies. the universe is much more fantastically fine and mind bogglingly beautiful than anyone considers on a daily basis.
me, i’m happy sitting here drinking beer from a can made of trillions of billions of things orbiting more things, which contains a chemical who’s composition will screw with the expertly coordinated conversation of electrical signals in an incredibly complicated squishy organ in my head (the most important squishy organ at that!) and give the universe credit where it’s due.
kudos universe. you’re far more amazing than we could ever hope to be.
